The Mission

About Black Fashion Career Day

Black Fashion Career Day (BFCD) is the flagship program of Black Fashion World Foundation, designed to operationalize access for BIPOC fashion talent through direct connection with industry leaders. In a relationship-driven industry that remains opaque and difficult to navigate, BFCD closes the information gap by providing real career transmission—not just inspiration.

Why BFCD Exists

22%

of Black professionals have access to a mentor

70%

increase in entrepreneurial success through mentorship

65%

While the event is designed with intentional support for BIPOC talent, we welcome all who share our commitment to equity, access, and excellence in the fashion industry.
